SmartWork consolidates the main features that reside in OpenText ECM “Content Server” into a single interface while adding commonly used Correspondence Management features to enhance user experience and to minimize the design time needed to implement Correspondence Management through the use ECM modules. SmartWork, powered with a modern interface, focusses on Correspondence Management features while using ECM as back-end. SmartWork extends ECM capabilities by adding specific Correspondence capabilities such as NESTED distribution of correspondence, correspondence follow-up, document barcoding and signing, automatic distribution based on organization hierarchy and custom distribution rules. SmartWork is a product that distinctively caters for the CMS features not found in ECM, to help eliminating any programming or extra add-ons to deliver the most complex workflow scenarios.
